We are a commercial glazing contractor serving most of Indiana. The company was founded in 1956 by H. Dale Rodewald and continues today as a family-owned business. Since its humble beginnings in the family garage, the company has grown into its current 25,000 square foot facility in Indianapolis. The foundation of this growth has been delivering quality products and dependable service to a wide variety of commercial construction projects throughout Indiana.

In order to provide the proper mix of skill, experience, and expertise, we are a union employer, signatory with the International Union of Painters and Allied Trades, District Council 91, Local 1165 (www.iupatdc91.com). Our glaziers are not only skilled in the glazing industry, but they take pride in the work they deliver. Their ongoing training programs ensure our workforce is up to date with the latest glazing practices, as well as provides enhanced awareness of the safety requirements of the construction world.

We Take Safety Seriously
At Hoosier Glass, we promote strong safety standards. With the assistance of Safety Resources, Inc., we design, adopt, and abide by a set of strict safety guidelines to ensure the safety of our employees and those around us. Together, we do what is necessary to create and promote a safe work environment at our facility and on jobsites.
In order to emphasize the ongoing importance of job safety, we conduct weekly “tool box talk” workshops for all field and fabrication employees. Additionally, we hold an annual safety workshop including industry specific training updates.
